Original works- Outworkings

I am fascinated with the idea of seen and unseen truth, and my body of work explores how to represent such intangiable wealth visually. Read as metaphors, each painting invites the viewer to consider themselves and each other and the journey of life from a refreshing perspective. What if ordinary things were symbols of another present reality? What if cups, clouds, hands, and grapes could tell the story of things unseen? Then we could view the invisible, intangible matters of life. We could see the substance of hope, joy, peace, and fear. We could witness processes like growth, love, and generosity, and see the patterns that our lives form in community.

I like to think of myself as a storytelling artist enthralled by beauty, working out what I believe on canvas.
